A refrigerant is not a complete performance rating
R290 is the designation for propane used as a refrigerant. That choice alone does not determine electricity use, noise or overall quality. R290 is planned for FREATH ONE, subject to confirmation in the final documentation.
Follow the safety conditions
Propane is flammable. Each appliance manual specifies minimum room areas, ventilation conditions and installation or storage restrictions. Those limits depend partly on refrigerant charge. Do not borrow a minimum area from a different model.
Leave the sealed circuit alone
Do not puncture the unit or attempt to recharge it yourself. Work must be handled by qualified professionals under the applicable requirements. Follow the manual’s instructions on ignition sources and transport.
Read the complete specification
Check the refrigerant, charge quantity, positioning instructions and end-of-life guidance. “Natural” does not mean risk-free. Efficiency, useful life and maintenance also matter when assessing a product.
